Ivey League's Mental Game Coach
Pawel Piotr Jablonski's Biography
Pawel Piotr Jablonski is not your typical Ivey League coach. He is a life coach that helps individuals and athletes achieve maximum performance both on the field and in their individual lives.
While some life coaches would merely adapt their program to fit a poker player's lifestyle, Pawel actually understands the mindset of a poker pro as he spent a few years grinding online poker.
Pawel discovered poker through another game, specifically Starcraft:Broodwar. Some of you may know that pro player Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier is a former Starcraft player turned poker pro.
The Starcraft community saw the success that ElkY was having at poker and Pawel decided to try the game. He started laying with $50 on Full Tilt Poker and worked his way up to NL50.
He admits that the game was a hobby at the time as he was both a student and MMA fighter. At one point, he attempted to play poker full-time but the responsibilities of life and of his growing family forced him to abandon that attempt.
Pawel also has an extensive background in martial arts that helped to prepare him for his future in poker and his present career. He first started with karate at age 8 and then at 13 he spent a year learning boxing. At 16, he began training in both Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Four to five years later, he added wrestling and began his career in Mixed Martial Arts.
Pawel admits that martial arts influenced his life a lot and build his character. He also stated that he "gained a lot of self confidence and faith that I can make it if I work hard enough."
His training in MMA and even as a poker player helped lead him to his current path as a life coach. When asked how he started his career as a life coach, he revealed, "From an early age, I was very curious how the world works. Who am I? How do people think? What is my purpose in life?"
"At the same time I started training in Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, I began to learn Neuro-Linguistic Programming, Hypnosis and Psychology. I looked to everything that was connected to the inner workings of a human. The mind, body and the relation between these two. As such, self development was something very natural for me."
Now Pawel brings his myriad of life experiences and motivational techniques to Ivey League. He will be teaching personal change, emotional intelligence and building the mindset for poker players. He plans to pull from his vast experiences as a coach to focus on player psychology, mindfulness, developing the mental tools for players and much more.
When asked about his goals at Ivey League, Pawel stated that the he had "one goal. To develop the best educational videos and presentations I can and help people change their lives for the better.
At Ivey League, players can learn how to win at poker. Now with Pawel's new series of videos, you can also learn how to win at life.
