We have important news we want to share with you. Bovada Poker has been acquired by Ignition Casino. This means you’ll be required to transfer your account by September 30, 2016. After this date, poker at Bovada will no longer be available. You’ll still have access to Bovada’s sportsbook, casino and racebook products.

Sounds like they might also be possibly leaving the US market?

That's no bueno! Does anyone know if it is still going to be a part of the Bodog network? Will Ignition be keeping the old software?
Looks like Ignition and Bovada run the same poker software (just slightly different color, still anonymous, still 4 tables max, still horribly glitchy)....I'm guessing it's just a way to separate poker players from sports bettors.

That'd mean harder tables but still the same old same old.

My biggest fear is it's a liquidity thing. My bovada cash outs have gone from 3 days to 3-4 weeks, that'd SUCK if it was something related to that. Like I always say, leave the minimum bankroll possible on ALL sites, no matter how safe you think they are (that goes for stars/party too, never know when you might get hacked, download a trojan, someone break into your hotel room and get your laptop, etc. etc.)
That was my thinking as well, that it's probably a way to protect their precious sport degens from winning regs haha.. Hopefully it isn't as you fear. I withdrew a few weeks ago via btc and it only took a day but that is definitely not a bad idea!!

I'm an old man, I still just do checks/wires/WU ;) My withdrawal time frame that I stated earlier was for checks. I miss 3 day checks :(
