When does Part 3 comes out?

I would love some more microstakes videos.
You can suspect about one video every 2 weeks from me.
Where can I get that shirt at the beginning of the video? :P
I am afraid it is just a random image I picked from google ;)
Great work, your videos are really helping understand the fundamentals of the game. I also really like how you go in and explain why certain things are done. For example why many do the 2.5x bet vs the 3.0x.
Quick question, do you ever limp in or do you always open with a bet?
Thanks man, always appreciate comments.

In general I always raise. I recommend you play as ''standard'' as possible, so you can focus on the important stuff.
Hey, would you recommend still opening 3x BB OTB in zoom poker? Thankyou
Also these videos are really good. Thanks
Yes and thanks.
To explain it a bit more in depth: I think one of the biggest leaks at ur stakes is that people overfold vs cbets. U win more with a cbet if there is more money in the pot, so I like a bigger preflop raise. Also rake is high and when u dont see a flop u dont pay rake afaik.
Oh ok yeh that makes a lot of sense. So would you say as stakes get higher say 25nl + or 50nl+ players get stronger and are not letting ppl steal so much from the BU. So here you may adjust to a 2.5bb BU open as villains will call Cbets/ 3 bet steal more frequently? Thank you
Hi Student on BU open ranges, how come hands A2o - A5o are not in but Q2s + and J5s+ are ? Thank you
I like the idea of tightening up on the SB I think alot of players including myself actually open up very wide and than are playing many hands OOP with terrible hands. Thank you

One of the final parts of this series is about stealing. U will see there are situations where u can open wider
Hi Victor. You never added ranges for MP2 and MP3 in full ring. I am assuming the MP range you gave covers both MP in 6 max and all 3 MP's in full ring?? is this correct?
I don't really know what else to say then that I did cover it in the video and mentioned my way of assigning positions aswell. The first slide includes the first 2 positions, the second slide the third, etc. Hope that helps.
Back to basic for me as you know. Working my way through these. I have to say you explained the 6max vs full ring very well. Given this is two years old now would you say its still very much relevant to modern day?
I suspect not a great deal changes below 25nl online.

The bet sizing is the best thing I took from this. I'm very much a smallballer MTT type, doing the 2.5 max pre to 1. keep in worse hands and 2. as you say, lose less if 3bet and I feel I need to fold.
So will look to change that as an easy one given the level I'm starting over from.

Yes it's relevant enough for sure :) You can also get the pokersnowie preflop advisor and compare a bit with that. Keep in mind that uses small openening size and has better post flop skill so it can get away with opening wider.
Hi TheStudent, thanks for your videos. Regarding opening ranges 6max vs FR. If the range is chosen based on how many people are left to act behind you, why is not 6 max ranges the same as the correlating seats in full ring? ie. opening range mp3 FR=mp 6max, mp2 FR=UTG 6 max. I hope this question makes sense. In other words, isn't 6 max the same as playing FR when the first 3 players fold?
I agree with you and that is also what I did in the video. I just added 3 positions for Full Ring only.
Hi TheStudent. Thanks for your video. I want to make sure that I really internalize these opening ranges. Any tips how to practice/memorize them? Also any tips on how far I should go with ajdusting the range to my opponents?
Glad to see people are still watching this.

Download equilab. Save a range, look at it, try to remember it. Then, make equilab empty, try to reproduce it. See if it is the same as your saved range. If not, write down 10 times what you did wrong. Repeat this again and again and again. When you mastered it, go to the next topic. Don't forget to sometimes refresh old topics too, since people always fall back into old habits.

Do not adjust for now. You will be wasting time. First learn solid poker. Once you crush, you can start thinking about adjusting. I realize that other people will disagree here, but I find this the quickest way to get my students to win.
