Good thing about this whole bot thing is that in the near future we can expect great arcade poker games which are based on NLH (on consoles, PCs, mobile). I'm very happy about it because I still play video games quite often.
Another positive aspect is that a challenge BOT VS BOT could happen and this one might be interesting or maybe even spectacular.

I didn't know that site security can prevent from using bots. I thought they can be used on the same terms as the tracking software is being used. This is good news for me as a game designer, because one of my projects uses online poker and I would really like to see it working one day. Besides, even though I don't play online anymore, I don't want to see poker dying. I'll keep my fingers crossed, somehow I still feel connected.

In September 2007, in Polish edition of Card Player magazine there's an interview in which my first card game - Source of the Force was mentioned. This is how it all started.

I'm not a great poker player, but I've played all the games poker rooms provide and I know well what players like, including myself. I play poker good enough to know that those two projects are something more than just poker variations. Please don't judge my work only by ideas you read on this forum. Sometimes I just need to make something different than my other stuff. When you work on something almost everyday for nine years, you can easily get tired and make something useless and worthless. When I say I got something big it means I have something big :)

Once again - there is infinite number of poker games out there, so something like the real new, long awaited poker is just a matter of time. Why do you deny something that is possible ? I'm not saying I have something better than NLH. I just claim to have two great games which deserve to be rated by the right people. If I was rich, I would post the rules here on the forum without any hesitation. Since I'm not, I need to secure these projects from being stolen.

OK, I have not one but two games ready and I need to contact Phil Ivey or Pokerstars directly.

Dragon

There is only one betting round. Both players are dealt two hole cards each. Five community cards are dealt face up on the table. Hand strength is read the same way as in NLH. The game is played No Limit. Betting is the same except for the situation where the player who made the call has won the hand - he collects only half of the pot and the other half is burnt (means he stays even with the money). In other words, to win the showdown and collect the other half of the pot, player must be the one who raised last.

Is it better now ???

I know it's unbeatable in the long run, but it's worth to mention there would be much less showdowns than in normal NLH. So who knows, maybe there would be a player out there who can beat it.
