Well like I said we are at the top of our range so we have to call. You should never try to put your opponent on one specific hand in poker but think about ranges instead. He is representing a super small amount of valuehands (like I said like 2 combos of flushes) and he can have some combos that are worse like I explained in the video. Rewatch the video and try to be open about all the arguments that I give. Hope that helps :) Thinking range vs range requires some practise.

If you don't get why this is a check, I recommend you watch this video :)

You won't learn anything with a post like this. Why don't you post your own thought process first with how you would construct your range in this spot and why?

Yes, exploiting is always higher ev, but the thing is that you got to do it right. Many people think they are outsmarting their opponents but some nodelocking in PIOsolver then shows they are just doing it wrong a lot.

So if we're playing a balanced range that means we can't be exploited right? Correct

But what if he 3-bets just way too high and we don't adjust our balanced range? We're still not exploited? Correct. He is -ev now because he deviates from GTO so he loses money since you play GTO. Google the prisoners dilemma if you don't understand these basics of game theory. It is the standard basic example :)
