As to the hands in question:

@7 min AJ84ss - If you can define your opponents range and say he 3bets only KK+ and suited High broadway connectors - yes, you can fold this preflop.
If however his range is about what most regulars 3bet on the BU it is hard to find a hand that does not have the needed equity preflop. raw equity is of course not the only factor here, but it is the most important one.
That being said, I don't mind folding this vs a tight range.

@25 min: leading has its advantages and disadvantages in this spot:
+ taking down the pot right there sometimes
+ taking initiative and potentially turning the hand into a bluff
- we are OOP
- blowing the pot up with a very marginal and vulnerable hand
- keeping the pot small should be our goal
- very tough playability on turns and rivers
- we will not deny him real equity anyway

So in general I'd check this sort of hand vs a range that is not weaker then mine on this flop.
