Good vid. Do you know a good source (book, online etc...) for overcalling ranges in full ring (opening ranges would be good too) I have found sources for 6 max, but not full ring. When you said that KJ is a 3 bet or fold hand there, I was thinking I would call there- I think this is one of my leaks. Are you looking more for suited connectors, pocket pairs, etc... there so that you avoid domination when you overcall?

I don't know of a good source for overcalling in full ring (where it's all listed out by position, player type etc.). Do you have the time stamp on the KJ hand you're referring to? If I watch the hand I might be able to give a better answer in regards to that specific spot.

The time stamp was 21:21. If you have any general overcalling strategy you could explain that would be great.

Unfortunately I don't have a general overcalling strategy that I can give you, because it depends. In that particular hand, someone limp/calling from UTG is going to have AJ/KQ often (which crushes me) and the pfr obviously has JJ+ AJ+ in his range (which also crushes me. In addition KJo just doesn't play well multiway (whereas a hand like JTs plays well multiway due to the type of hands it flops) and if I flat there, there's a good chance UTG calls, and probably 1 of the blinds calls as well. So 4 way (sometimes 3, rarely 5 way) KJo just isn't the best.

I'd rather flat JTs/77 type hands which will just play better/easier postflop.

Ya, I get it. Overcalling isn't a simple recipe type of thing- have to consider the ranges of other players. Very good explanation of why you didn't call in that particular situation.
